Who are we?

What distinguishes the Loburg boarding school, what is the everyday life of the boarding school with us and what school and extracurricular offers we make to our students – here you will find the answers to your questions.

What distinguishes us

To promote strengths and talents and to offer students a living environment that they experience as their second home: this is what distinguishes our pedagogical work and we work passionately for this.
Day after day.

Life in boarding school

What does life in boarding school actually look like? How are the students accommodated, how are they accompanied in everyday life and what academic and extracurricular opportunities are available to them? Here you will find the answers.

Learning and school

The topics of learning and education are of central importance to us. Whether students are looking for additional challenges or you need more structure and support when learning: At Loburg, everyone will find the opportunities they are looking for.

Admission & Costs

When admission to our boarding school is possible, what costs you will incur and what funding opportunities (scholarships) exist – here you will find answers to these and other questions about admission and costs.

Trial living

DThe best way to get a comprehensive picture of the Loburg is to try it out. Interested students live in the boarding school for up to a week and test and thus put through their paces. A trial stay is usually also possible at short notice.

and school

The topics of learning and education are of course of central importance to us. Whether students are looking for additional challenges as one-time students or they need more structure and support when learning: Loburg offers everyone the opportunities they are looking for.

One boarding school.
Many possibilities.

Most Loburg boarding school students attend our Gymnasium directly on the Loburg campus.

In addition, however, we work closely with two other schools: the Josef Annegarn School in Ostbevern and the Comprehensive School in Warendorf. This enables us to accept students for whom the Gymnasium is currently not (yet) the right type of school.

Additional school offers and assistance

Depending on their age and school situation, our boarding school students have numerous opportunities to acquire additional skills beyond the actual subject matter or to get help to work through technical deficits – be it in individual subjects or in general when it comes to learning. Again and again we experience that students are not yet able to organize themselves well enough to be really successful at school. A key to success often lies in working on these and other soft skills – for example under the guidance of the experienced employees in our learning office.

We offer boarding school students additional learning opportunities through our Loburg Academy. In this way, they can acquire further qualifications or deepen their school knowledge.

Every year, students from abroad come to us to do their Abitur at Loburg. You will acquire the necessary language skills in our language school.

Every year in spring and autumn we invite well-known personalities from culture, society and politics to our Loburg to discuss education, upbringing and imparting values.
